What this static site can collect
Silica Particle Science is a static technical website published by Applied Physics Corporation. Analytics and user-submitted inquiries may be enabled during live deployment.
| Data category | When collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Basic web logs | When the server or CDN receives a request | Security, uptime, diagnostics and abuse prevention |
| Analytics events | When GA4, GTM, Microsoft Clarity or another configured tool is enabled | Understand page use, tool engagement and technical referrals |
| Referral parameters | When a user follows an Applied Physics CTA | Attribute the source site, page, campaign and CTA position |
| Inquiry information | When a user chooses to email or submit information to Applied Physics | Technical review, quotation, support and follow-up |
| Calculator inputs | Processed locally in the browser in this build | Generate a result; not transmitted by the static page itself |
Calculators run in the browser.
The particle selector, dilution calculator, count estimator, size converter and technical brief builder use local JavaScript. The technical brief is not sent automatically. A user must choose to copy it or open an email to Applied Physics.
